State Horticultural Show 1984

Maxipark, developed on the occasion of NRW's first Landesgartenschau in 1984, today is a popular recreation park. In addition to the Glass Elephant, the tropical butterfly house, a Piet Oudolf shrubs and grasses plantation, and various playgrounds, many cultural events enrich your park experience.
